The Nike Dunk is a shoe that originally came out in 1985 as a high-top version that was designed for basketball. Since then, the shoe has been adopted by a number of different subcultures, most notably skateboarding. Thanks to its simplistic silhouette, the Dunk has seen a number of different uses but today seems to be more of a fashion statement via Instagram ‘fit pics’ and TikTok Trends.
